Already three years gone for AMP (Accelerated Mobile Page) and it’s now a juicy topics for all the webmasters. AMP enabled pages provide great user experience with faster speed. Lots of content publishers has already implemented AMP technology in their website and it’s increasing fast.
In last April 2019 Google announced that very soon AMP content can be displayed under the real domain. In that AMP Conference 2019 Google also told the audience that this was one of a major complaints from content publisher not to display AMP content on their own domain. And finally Google announced it and listened to the community. Currently Google display AMP article on a very specialized domain that are heavily cached located around the world. And reader and visitor can’t recognize the source identity from the URL as it was a Google domain. That created chaos. But due to technical difficulties Google didn’t develop the feature to display AMP content on real domain. But after the announcement, website providers are already working to enable their technology platform to enable serving AMP content on the real domain.
Cloudflare is one of them. Cloudflare introduced the feature that will enable publisher to server AMP content on their real domain. Cloudflare CTO Zack Bloom announced it earlier this month and it was published on the official blog of AMP. But this feature is still not available for all the customers of Cloudflare. They are only accepting application for their early access program. So if you are already a customer of Cloudflare or want to avail this feature before anybody else, just go to Cloudflare AMP on real domain early access web page to signup.
